Senior Technology Officer (CTO-level)

Role Overview

Emstell is seeking an experienced Senior Technology Officer to take ownership of the company’s technical direction across all client projects. This role is equivalent to a CTO position and requires a hands-on leader who combines strong technical depth with an understanding of the service business, client relationships, and delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete technology direction and architecture of all ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Ensure process adherence across project teams, aligned with Emstell’s quality and delivery standards.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client coordination and communication.
• Provide project oversight, working closely with internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Manage relationships and engagements with technology suppliers and partners.
• Oversee server infrastructure and basic DevOps functions to support project and business needs.
• Bring a strong technical background combined with a clear understanding of the service business model.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally within an IT services or consulting environment.
• Strong technical foundation across software, web, and mobile application development.
• Working knowledge of server management and basic DevOps practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and cross-functional project teams.
• Willingness and availability to travel within India and overseas as required.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Basic working knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Relevant technical or management certifications are a plus.
